Happy Returns launches self-service returns kiosk

By Ben Stevens | Mar 4, 2019

Retail logistics solutions company Happy Returns has launched a self-service returns kiosk, allowing shoppers to return online purchases in store quickly and efficiently.

The kiosks will utilise Happy Return’s reverse logistics infrastructure and software, but can be fully customised to incorporate a retailer’s branding.

An integrated tablet in the kiosk will allow users to look up their order, select different items and choose to return or exchange them.

They’ll then be asked to place their items inside the kiosk where they can be instantly returned to a retailer’s store stock, or they can be sent to Happy Return’s returns hub where it will be inspected and processed.

“Our experience working at HauteLook/Nordstrom Rack and working with dozens of other retailers at Happy Returns informed our approach to managing the growing volume of online returns in physical stores,” Happy Returns co-founder and chief executive David Sobie said.

“The new self-service return kiosk incorporates all we have learned about delivering a return experience that’s delightful for customers and more efficient and cost-effective for retailers.”
