Avenue- Now Digital-Only, Secures Physical Sites for Returns

By Adam Blair | Dec 19, 2016

Plus-size women’s apparel brand Avenue, which closed its brick-and-mortar stores following its August 2019 bankruptcy, will nevertheless be able to offer shoppers physical locations where they can return products. The now digital-only retailer, which was purchased by City Chic in October 2019, has selected Happy Returns to manage its returns and reverse logistics. The solution provider operates a nationwide network of 700 Return Bars.

“Offering our shoppers Happy Returns for returning online purchases is a core part of our digital-only strategy,” said Phil Ryan, CEO of Avenue in a statement. “We expect Happy Returns’ solution for returns in person will help us succeed without a physical presence.”

Happy Returns clients include both online and omnichannel retailers, such as American Giant, Cuts Clothing, Draper James, Everlane, Hips & Curves, REVOLVE and Rothy’s.
